Design advice for 2021
I got this piece of advice from a design book which stressed the need of knowledge of design principles which includes grid, layout, colours, typography, and composition. I notice 70% of newbie or junior designers don’t really want to go through the phase of design principles rather they want to jump on learning the end product of designing.
That where you hear them saying a statement like between Sketch, Figma, xd, invision and photoshop which is the best to use for products design or you hear them arguing between CorelDRAW and illustrator.
If you understand the principles of design you can use any design tool of your choice to create great designs.
If you will take any advice into 2021 on design this is what you should take.
